Washington, District of Columbia – Light snow is possible this afternoon through late tonight across the Baltimore–Washington region, with minor accumulations expected on several major roadways during the Tuesday commute and overnight hours.
According to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington office, snowfall amounts are forecast to range from a coating to around one-half inch for much of the Interstate 95 corridor, including Washington, Baltimore, Annapolis, and surrounding suburbs. Areas farther south and west, particularly along I-81, I-64, and portions of I-95 near Fredericksburg and Charlottesville, could see higher totals between 1 and 2 inches, with localized amounts up to 3 inches near the Allegheny Front…
