Punxsutawney Phil was taken into custody Monday morning according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
“Punxsutawney Phil has been taken into custody,” the MCSO posted today.
Authorities say that Phil faces pending charges including:
- Unlawful extension of winter
- Disorderly conduct involving a shadow
