HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — McGrath’s owner Adam Sturges told CBS 21 Monday that his business will be expanding into the space that was formerly Arooga’s.
He said a part of his choice to merge the stores came from the need to have less empty storefronts downtown.
“You can’t have all these shuttered storefronts downtown. It makes it look like a ghost town. And so this was more self-preservation for me than a willingness — it’s not that I wanted to expand. I don’t want to see that corner bar on such a prevalent stretch of Second Street closed,” Sturges said…
