Colin Gray’s Apalachee shooting trial set to begin next week

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The trial of the man whose son is accused of killing four people and injuring nine others in a Georgia high school mass shooting is set to begin one week from today.

Colin Gray, father of Colt Gray, is facing 29 felony counts, including two counts of second-degree murder; two counts of involuntary manslaughter; several counts of second-degree cruelty to children; and reckless conduct. He is facing up to 180 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Colin Gray, who is facing 55 counts in connection with the Sept. 4, 2024 shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, has pleaded not guilty, as has Colt Gray.
