One injured, dog missing after Robertsdale house fire

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WKRG) – A fire heavily damaged a home on Circle Drive in Robertsdale on Sunday evening.

Mobile man arrested after allegedly shooting his son

Robertsdale Volunteer Fire officials said fire crews were on scene within minutes of getting the call. When they arrived, firefighters found heavy flames coming from the front of the house.

First responders tell WKRG News 5 that the family inside the home was able to escape and one person was transported for medical treatment.

Firefighters were also able to rescue one dog that was trapped inside. The family’s other dog is believed to have run out the back of the house during the chaos.

Robertsdale Fire Department, along with the Loxley Volunteer Fire Department, the Silverhill Volunteer Fire Department, the Summerdale Volunteer Fire Department and the Elsanor Volunteer Fire Department responded to this call.
