Officials say recent fires caused by heating, electrical mishaps

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Several fires broke out across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry over the weekend, many linked to attempts to stay warm during cold weather, fire officials said.

Chatham County Fire Deputy Chief Keith Hardin said improper heating practices can quickly become dangerous if people are not careful.
