Human trafficking survivors educate public on ways to rescue victims

COMSTOCK, Mich. — On Saturday in Comstock, an audience at the Colt Center learned how they can stop the modern-day slavery of human trafficking.

Unsilenced Battle Creek and other community groups held a community awareness day with a panel of survivors.

Through sharing their experiences, they explained how victims will show small signs, such as giving scripted answers to questions about their well being, or not knowing where they’re staying when asked.
