Port of Corpus Christi Commission Names New Officers, Welcomes New Commissioners Sworn in by Nueces County Judge

Corpus Christi, TX, USA – The Port of Corpus Christi Commission named new officers and welcomed two new Commissioners at the January Commission meeting. The group returned to the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz International Center following a year of extensive renovations and upgrades to the venue.

Commissioner Gabe Guerra was named Chairman of the Port Commission, succeeding David P. Engel following the conclusion of his term. Guerra was first appointed to the Port Commission by the Corpus Christi City Council in 2022. Commissioner Wes Hoskins, appointed by the San Patricio County Commissioners Court, was reappointed Vice Chairman, and Commissioner Rajan Ahuja, appointed by the City of Corpus Christi, was named Secretary.
