Philly AP students experience college-level coursework in Jackson

Three Philadelphia High School Advanced Placement students spent their Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend immersed in college-level STEM coursework and Mississippi history in Jackson.

Axl Battle, Piers Coburn, and Quan Clemons were selected to attend the Global Teaching Project Advanced STEM Winter Program, a three-day seminar held Jan. 17-19 in partnership with Jackson State University.
