TOWN OF SUMNER, Wis. — A woman in her 40s was transported to the hospital via UW MedFlight and is now in critical condition following a snowmobile accident Sunday morning, the Fort Atkinson Fire Department said.
The fire department was dispatched to Lake Koshkonong near North Shore Road at 11:20 a.m. and located a single snowmobile. The woman was found 500 yards offshore on the frozen lake. Emergency personnel were able to reach her by UTV and provided medical assistance.
