Iowa received two gifts on Feb. 2 — the promise of an early spring thanks to Polk County Paula not seeing her shadow and the long-awaited arrival of Yuengling beer in the state.
The two events converged at the High Life Lounge in Des Moines, where Yuengling officially launched during a party to celebrate the restaurant’s 22nd anniversary and an appearance by Polk County Paula, who did not see her shadow.
