Conroe Police Chief Jon Buckholtz and Sheriff Wesley Doolittle are urging residents to remain vigilant as thieves continue to target GMC and Chevrolet trucks because of security system vulnerabilities.
Over the past several months, both agencies have reported that multiple trucks have been stolen within the city limits. In these cases, suspects disable vehicle alarms and force entry into the vehicle.
