All lanes of I-90 in northwest suburbs reopen after crash early Monday morning in which EMS worker was hit by car along highway

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — A portion of I-90 in northwest suburban Hoffman Estates was shut down early Monday morning following a chain-reaction crash in which an EMS worker was hit by a car, according to Illinois State Police.

All lanes reopened by about 8:15 a.m.

ISP says the crash happened just before 2 a.m. on I-90 westbound at milepost 61 when a semi-truck hit a stationary vehicle that had been involved in a previous crash, for which an ambulance was at the scene…
