CCSD schools face $50M budget reduction amid lower enrollment, higher employee costs

Las Vegas (KSNV) — The Clark County School District says that because of lower student enrollment, next year’s school budget shows 50 million dollars less in school funding compared to the current year.

The district, in a document provided to News 3, says that, as well as employee costs, are leading to employees being budgeted out of their schools.

CCSD says 284 schools saw a reduction in their budget; of those, 201 saw a drop in enrollment…
