Hawaii U.S. United Pageant celebrates local achievements, inclusion

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A new pageant in Hawaii is giving local men, women and youth a chance to shine on a national stage for their personal, professional and community achievements while celebrating inclusion.

The U.S. United Pageant System was founded in 2003 by Marchia Mickens and is entering its second year in Hawaii. Paris Vapaille-Watson, Hawaii U.S. United Director and the Mr. Hawaii U.S. United Ambassador, and this year’s Ms. Hawaii U.S. United Pageant winner Leilani Soon joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about the program.
