Location of missing teen’s remains revealed by Hocking County Sheriff

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Hocking County Sheriff is revealing more details in the death of Hailey Buzbee.

The remains of the 17-year-old were found Sunday in Wayne National Forest near a trailhead in Perry County, according to Hocking County Sheriff Lanny North.

Sheriff North stated that a search was also conducted Monday at a short-term rental in Hocking County where Buzbee and Thomas had stayed. “They found some forensic evidence which they feel might be linked to a crime scene to a death until, it is examined by the lab, they can’t be the exactly for sure what it is,” North said…
