FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Lily Endowment Inc. granted the University of Saint Francis (USF) $125,000 to fund the planning phase of an Artificial Intelligence study over the course of 12 months.
USF announced in a press release on Monday that the foundation granted the funds through its initiative, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Higher Education. Also, through this initiative, the university will have the chance to apply for an implementation grant by May 2026 and can receive up to $5 million.
Lilly Endowment writes that its aim through the new initiative is to aid Indiana colleges and universities in considering the challenges and opportunities AI presents to institutions and in developing new strategies to improve education and workforce implementation as AI becomes more relevant…
