Officer with ties to central Pa. killed responding to report of credit card theft

A police officer shot and killed in Georgia Sunday was a former Dauphin County Prison employee.

Gwinnett County police officer Pradeep Tamang, 25, was killed while responding to an Atlanta-area hotel for what was dispatched as a credit card theft.
