Fire breaks out in Lexington apartment complex chimney

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Multiple vehicles from the Lexington Fire Department were seen on Monday morning outside a Lexington apartment complex in response to reports of a fire in the area.

According to the department’s incident database, just before 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 2, crews arrived at the Park Place Apartments complex on the 4000 block of Tates Creek Road in response to reports of a structure fire.

According to the LFD, crews found a fire in and around a chimney. It was eventually extinguished.
