MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for two masked men armed with a gun and a large knife who tried to rob a Whitehaven convenience store early Monday morning.
Surveillance video shows the men enter the Marathon store in the 1600 block of East Shelby Drive with their weapons drawn and headed straight toward the clerk at the counter.
Police said the man with the gun demanded money from the employee, while the second suspect brandished the knife and held the front door open.

The male, armed with a gun, fired one shot into the counter area after the clerk refused to give them money.
Both suspects fled the scene on foot without getting anything.
