TN lawmaker calls for NES executives to be fired, board replaced after prolonged outages from ice storm

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Widespread outages across Nashville Electric Service’s service area have now entered their tenth day following a historic ice storm that moved through Middle Tennessee in late January.

NES continues to work to restore power to all who remain in the dark since the storm, with more than 1,000 linemen deployed in the effort. But many are voicing frustration with NES executives’ work to lead those efforts.
