INDIANTOWN, Fla. (WFLA) — Two young Florida girls were found safe in Lowndes County, Georgia, over the weekend after authorities said a man drove nearly 24 hours straight from Nebraska to abduct them and take them back home with him.
“This was a sobering case for us here at the county sheriff’s office, but we’re thankful with how it ended,” Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said during a Monday press conference.

The suspect, identified as Hser Mu Lah Say, 19, of Omaha, Nebraska, began communicating with the two sisters, ages 12 and 15, on the gaming app Roblox in mid-2025, according to the sheriff’s office.
Family members immediately brought this up to detectives when the two girls from Indiantown went missing on Saturday evening. According to the sheriff, in the summer of 2025, the family had noticed “weird things going on,” involving gifts like food showing up to the house.
