Thousands Exposed to Measles After Visit to Disney Parks and Los Angeles Airport

Public health officials in Southern California confirmed that a person with a confirmed case of measles traveled through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and then spent a full day at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, potentially exposing thousands of travelers and park visitors to the virus in late January.

The infected individual, described as an international traveler, arrived at LAX on Monday, January 26 and was infectious during their time at the airport and later that same week at Disneyland.
