ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Thursday morning’s structure fire in northwest Roanoke sent four firefighters to the hospital. Roanoke Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) said two had minor injuries, while two others were more seriously hurt.

After Roanoke Firefighters Association member Mitch Burroughs heard about this, he said he wanted to help them out in some way. That’s how his custom shirts fundraiser started.
“I’ve been doing graphic design, making t-shirts for different fire departments and stations, and things like that,” Burroughs said. “Any time something like this happens in the fire department, everybody comes together and tries to figure out what can we do to make things better and what we can do to help them, and our reaction was let’s make some shirts.”
People can buy t-shirts, long-sleeve shirts or hoodies. Each shirt features Burroughs’s custom design with the ‘Station Five’ logo on the front and the ‘Bound Through Brotherhood’ design on the back…
