The long-anticipated rebuilding plan for Pacific Palisades, devastated by wildfire over a year ago, remains unreleased, leaving many residents frustrated and questioning city leadership. The city of Los Angeles hired infrastructure firm AECOM and Hagerty Consulting in June to create a comprehensive roadmap for recovery, including plans for infrastructure upgrades, fire protection, and new evacuation routes. The report was due to arrive at the mayor’s office in mid-November, but as of February, it has not been made public.
