SMITHVILLE, Mo. (KCTV) – The taxpayers of the City of Smithville have gathered the required signatures to initiate a petition audit.
On Tuesday, Missouri State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick announced that he is answering the call that more than 750 residents of Smithville have put in for an audit of the city government’s operations.
