Arkansas State Police Send Fleeing Chevy Equinox Into Corn Field: Video

A new police chase has hit the web showing Arkansas State Police performing a PIT maneuver on a fleeing Chevy Equinox at over 100 mph, sending the crossover spinning into a corn field.

After passing another vehicle, the trooper caught up with the Chevy Equinox. However, the driver in the Equinox failed to pull over.

The officer later advised Dispatch that they were now engaged in a pursuit, which lasted for about a minute. According to the report, the chase was approaching a T intersection and a reduced speed limit of 40 miles per hour, so the officer decided to conduct a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI).

The passenger then opted to flee on foot but was subsequently taken into custody. The driver was also arrested. Officers later found what was believed to be marijuana in the vehicle…
