3 injured, including officer, after exchange of gunfire at Dallas apartment, police say

Three people were injured, including a Dallas police officer, during an exchange of gunfire after a disturbance call at an apartment Monday night, the Dallas police chief confirmed.

At a news conference, Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux said that at about 8:40 p.m., officers responded to an apartment in the 4300 block of Woodhollow Drive after reports of an armed suspect who was allegedly threatening people.

When officers arrived, they went inside the apartment and heard a person saying, “he has a gun” inside the bathroom. Then, officers heard a woman from inside the bathroom shouting, “he has a gun, he has a gun.”…
