SURPRISE, AZ (AZFamily) — A multi-car crash left a motorcyclist dead on a West Valley freeway late Monday night.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred on the southbound lanes of the Loop 303 near Northern Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. Troopers say a motorcyclist was speeding when the rider lost control and rear-ended a Chevrolet car.
Authorities say the motorcycle rider was thrown off the bike and sustained serious injuries, leading to death. The motorcyclist’s name has not yet been released at this time.
Two other vehicles were involved in the collision, but DPS did not say how they were involved or if anyone in those vehicles was hurt…
