WILSONVILLE – A Montevallo man has been arrested and charged in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins reported in south Shelby County, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
On Sunday, Feb. 1, sheriff’s deputies arrested Jerry Lee Washington Jr., 34, of Montevallo on charges of Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle, Attempting to Elude and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Following his initial arrest, investigators connected Washington to multiple additional vehicle break-ins and thefts in the Kingdom area of south Shelby County. As a result, authorities obtained 12 additional UBEV warrants and two Theft of Property, Second Degree warrants…
