Cleveland man sentenced for distributing drugs while on parole

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland-area career criminal has been sentenced to prison for his role in the distribution of drugs while he was out on parole.

43-year-old Lamont Johnson, was sentenced to 17.5 years in prison by U.S. District Judge John R. Adams after pleading guilty in October to the following charges:

· Possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance: fentanyl, cocaine and xylazine.

· Felon in possession of a firearm: prior convictions include drug trafficking in 2022 and 2012.
