PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — The superintendent for the Plainfield Community School Corporation says there will be disciplinary action if students participate in a walkout protest planned for Friday.
In a notice shared with News 8, Superintendent Andy Allen says though the schools value the “passion students show for current events and their desire to engage,” the corporation’s primary responsibility is to “ensure a safe, predictable, and uninterrupted learning environment.”
Allen elaborated on the schools’ expectations, stating students should not leave a classroom unless “permission from the teacher or the school is granted.”…
