Chase opens first Ames branch, pledges $1M for Iowa’s small businesses

JPMorgan Chase recently marked a major milestone in its Iowa expansion, cutting the ribbon on its first Ames branch while unveiling more than $1 million in philanthropic commitments.

Local officials, business leaders and community partners gathered Jan. 22 at the new branch at 435 S. Duff Ave., where Tim Berry, the bank’s global head of corporate responsibility, announced a plan aimed at strengthening small businesses across the state.
