Suspect in motorcycle crash that killed one in North Omaha changes plea

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The man who caused a crash in North Omaha that led to the death of one person has changed his plea.

Julius Nanke, 24, changed his plea to no contest on Jan. 23 for one count of motor vehicle homicide – driving while intoxicated.

According to authorities, Nanke crashed into a motorcycle near 72nd and Crown Pointe on Sept. 12. Charles Schon, 71, was later declared deceased at a hospital…
