ROCKFORD, IL — A Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputy opened fire while attempting to make an arrest about 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3 in the area of Harrison Avenue and Kishwaukee Street.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are murky, but according to information from the sheriff’s department neither the suspect or the deputy was shot.
