SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Police confirm to Ozarks First they are investigating shots fired early Wednesday morning near the Oak Grove section of Springfield.
The call reportedly came in around 4:16 a.m. along the 2100 block of East Cinderella Street.
Alleged witnesses say they heard what sounded like four gunshots in the area at the time of the alleged shooting. They tell Ozarks First someone also allegedly broke into their car around the same time. Others say they saw two men with one of them “armed.” An open box of keys was also reportedly found near the crime scene; it remains unclear if this is related to the reported shooting…
