If you’re planning to attend the Krewe of Centaur parade this Saturday in Shreveport, local police want paradegoers to be clear on what is not allowed along the route. The rules are meant to keep families, riders, and spectators safe while keeping the parade moving without interruptions.
The Shreveport Police Department released a list of prohibited items and actions that will be enforced throughout the parade area, including along Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway and nearby city streets.
Items Not Allowed on the Parade Route
Glass is a major concern for safety crews. No glass bottles or glass containers are allowed anywhere along the parade route. If it can break, leave it at home.
