Former DC teacher’s aide accused of sticking hot sauce in non-verbal student’s mouth offered a plea deal

WASHINGTON — A former DC public school district teacher’s aide accused of putting hot sauce on her finger and sticking it in the mouth of a non-verbal student with autism has been offered a plea deal.

Imani Davis was charged with assault in connection with the incident in November.
