1 injured, 2 charged after multi-vehicle crash on I-26 backed up traffic for hours

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A four-vehicle crash on Interstate 26 near the Hendersonville exit snarled traffic for several hours Wednesday and sent one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Around noon on Feb. 4, a Nissan Altima traveling on I-26 changed lanes to go around a slow-moving tractor-trailer when it was struck in the rear by a speeding Chrysler 300 in the left lane, according to J.D. Maybin, master trooper with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
