Several years ago, I lived in Baltimore, and during my time here, I tried many of the city’s incredible restaurants. Whether it was a fine-dining establishment or a hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop place, I found that dining in Baltimore was always an exciting adventure. One of the most memorable experiences I had was the Sunday Jazz Brunch at one of the city’s best-known restaurants. Located right within Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the Rusty Scupper Restaurant & Bar’s all-you-can-eat weekend affair is a dining experience I will always remember.
About the Rusty Scupper
The Rusty Scupper Restaurant & Bar is a landmark restaurant situated off Key Highway by the Inner Harbor Marina. Dining here means outstanding views of the water, Harborside, the Inner Harbor, and Fells Point while indulging in an array of fresh seafood dishes. It’s been open for over 40 years and serves dinner every evening, plus lunch on Fridays and Saturdays—and it’s quite a popular spot in town. But one of the best dining experiences you can have in Baltimore is the Sunday Jazz Brunch at Rusty Scupper.
The Sunday Jazz Brunch Experience
Rusty Scupper’s massive dining room has 270 seats and plenty of space, so you won’t feel crowded, even during its extremely popular Sunday brunch. Once you’re led to a table, you can order drinks from your server (champagne, Bellinis, mimosas, cider, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and juice are included in the brunch price). Your server will also lead you to the direction of the buffet.
The buffet offerings are varied, and even picky eaters will find many things to eat. Starting with traditional breakfast fare, you’ll find French toast, scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, home fries, and maple breakfast sausage; made-to-order omelets are also popular. Moving on to the carving station, here’s where you’ll find meats like prime rib, roasted pork, and duck confit, all hand-carved by a chef. For those who want something healthy, a wide variety of salads, including Caesar and baby spinach salad, are available to pile onto your plate. And then there’s my favorite table featuring chilled seafood, like fresh-shucked oysters, smoked salmon, and shrimp. Those with a sweet tooth can get their fill of sugary delights at the dessert station, featuring cookies, cakes, puddings, and more.
But that’s not all… the Chef’s Specialties await! These include a selection of special dishes based on the menu’s monthly theme. For example, in January 2026, the Caribbean Brunch Buffet featured island-inspired dishes such as seafood stew in a spiced coconut broth and grilled jerk chicken with mango slaw.
