Caught on camera: Store robbery leads to high-speed chase and arrests in Lee County

Authorities released police footage of a chase and the arrest of two teenagers suspected of a robbery at a North Fort Myers store early Tuesday morning.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), deputies were alerted about the theft of hundreds of dollars’ worth of vaping products from a shop called Papa’s Smoke Shop.

Police identified the suspect vehicle as a silver Ford Escape SUV, which was later spotted by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) speeding and driving without its headlights on, LCSO reported…
