Soddy-Daisy woman convicted in Chattanooga officer’s death has parole hearing Wednesday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A woman serving an 11-year sentence for the hit-and-run death of a Chattanooga police officer asked the state parole board to lighten her sentence on Wednesday.

But one board member said if it was up to her, Janet Hinds would not get parole. Other Tennessee Board of Parole members will vote soon.
