BUFFALO, N.Y. — A popular downtown restaurant is packing up shop and moving across town.
Osteria 166 will be moving into Ulrich’s 1868 Tavern on Ellicott Street, with plans to operate the tavern’s kitchen space and provide a “convenient casual lunch service,” owners Nick Pitillo and Edward Gurbacki said in a statement.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to continue what we started together 13 years ago inside of one of Buffalo’s oldest and most historic locations,” Pitillo said. ” There is so much energy around the Medical Campus. We are excited to be part of downtown’s evolution and to start an exciting new chapter based on the same vision and values that have been the foundation of Osteria from the day we opened.”…
