A Detroit man has been indicted for murder and other charges for another man’s shooting death Dec. 26 outside a Toledo homeless shelter.
Al Alim Zaki-El, 57, is charged with alternative counts of murder plus second-degree felonious assault and third-degree tampering with evidence for the death of Andrew Shively, 36, outside St. Paul’s Community Center at 230 N. 13th St.
Police said Mr. Shively was outside St. Paul’s about 3 p.m. when a man shot him twice and then ran away. Mr. Shively died at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center…
