Two men have been charged with racketeering for a series of thefts from parked work trucks throughout the metro Detroit area following a multi-jurisdictional investigation, according to Macomb prosecutors.
Andrew Walker, 27, of Detroit, and Deanote Lindsey, 27, of Harper Woods, were formally charged in recent days with operating a criminal enterprise for their alleged systematic efforts and armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon for an alleged incident, said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido.
Walker and Lindsey allegedly targeted at least 17 work trucks parked in residential driveways and commercial parking lot at various times of the day throughout Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties, Lucido said in a press release.
