Wildman’s manager backs up $835K stock sale with letter from late owner

In the latest development in a lawsuit concerning the fate of Wildman’s Civil Surplus War store, ex-trustee and store manager Marjorie Lyon argues a letter from late owner Dent Myers gifted her more than $800,000 in Lockheed Martin stock.

Myers, who owned the controversial Confederate-themed store on Main Street in downtown Kennesaw, died in January 2022. Lyon, a longtime friend who helped run the store, reopened it shortly after Myers died.

Upon Myers’ death, he named his sister, Janice Bagwell and Lyon co-executors of his estate and co-trustees of a trust he set up, which consists of all of Myers’ assets, including real estate, accounts and the store…
