With a Newark backhoe clearing snow from curbside parking spaces nearby on Court Street, Tony Jones paused on Tuesday to recall the last time a blizzard had blanketed the city so badly.
“Sh*t,” said Jones, 60, a Central Ward resident on disability for a gunshot wound. “It ain’t been like this since 2020.”
