YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — In an ongoing investigation into the illegal sale of vaping products in York County, a Newport News man was charged Friday in connection with underage sales.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants at multiple retail vape stores on Jan. 30. Warrants were served at Super Tobacco, located at 8135 George Washington Memorial Highway, Tobacco and Vape Haven, located at 8100 George Washington Memorial Highway and Yorktown Tobacco and Vape, located at 4330 George Washington Memorial Highway.
The investigation established probable cause that certain businesses were selling vaping products in violation of Virginia law, including prohibited or unlawfully marketed items.
