A planning board will consider a possible additional use of retail space near a new Walmart.
A new Walmart is being constructed on County Road 466 in Lady Lake at the massive Hammock Oaks development.
The Lady Lake Planning and Zoning Board will meet Monday evening and will hear about an additional possible use for the 3.072 acres located south of County Road 466, east of Cherry Lake Road, and north of Copacabana Road.
Craig Brashier with NV5, Inc, on behalf of property owner VSI Lady Lake, LLC, applied in January to amend the zoning entitlements for the property. The property owner is requesting to add “Motor Vehicle Service Center” to the only lengthy list of possible uses for the property.
