Sales rep for The Villages lands in jail after skipping court date

A sales representative for The Villages landed in jail after skipping a court date.

Song “Sonny” Pae, 45, was arrested this past week at his home in Middleton on a warrant charging with the failure to appear.

Pae was issued a citation on Dec. 1 after he was pulled over in a 2000 Toyota utility vehicle with a North Carolina license plate which had a sticker which had expired in 2023. The traffic stop took place at Central Parkway and Bexley Trail and was initiated by the Wildwood Police Department. The citation noted that Pae has been living and working in The Villages since 2024. The criminal citation required a mandatory court appearance.

Pae had been a frequent visitor to The Villages as his wife’s family purchased a home here in 1989. He had been selling real estate in North Carolina when he decided to move to The Villages and began working for Properties of The Villages…
